Brian Garber

Brian opened the original Stowe shop in 2008 after a decade apprenticing along the East Coast. His work leans toward bold black-and-grey storytelling — heirloom portraits, religious iconography, and the occasional dragon that wraps a full sleeve.

He approaches every booking like a commission: long consultation, hand-drawn references, and a final design walk-through before the needle ever touches skin. Repeat clients are common; many have followed him through more than a dozen pieces.

Outside the shop you can find Brian at the local flat-track speedway, sketchbook in hand, looking for the next bit of motion to turn into a tattoo.
